3.2 Access Route Verification
Before delivery, ensure there is sufficient access to the installation location. For refrigerator delivery, an additional 20 cm or more clearance is required in addition to the width of the refrigerator itself. As a guideline, check the width and height of your entrance door, the width of corridors, and the width and height of elevators and stairs. When measuring, pay attention to the width of handrails.
If the delivery route is complex, such as requiring the refrigerator to be rotated during delivery, space greater than the depth of the refrigerator will be required.
Delivery via stairs may not be possible in the following cases. Please also check for the presence of an elevator:
- Spiral staircases
- Winding stairs without a landing
- Narrow internal stairs
- Stairs less than 90 cm wide
Separate charges may apply for hoisting or crane delivery; please confirm with the delivery company.
