Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Place the JVC HR-XVC15 on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

- Component Video (Progressive Scan): For the highest quality video, connect the red (Pr), blue (Pb), and green (Y) component video cables from the unit's "COMPONENT/PROGRESSIVE SCAN VIDEO OUT" to the corresponding inputs on your TV. Connect separate audio cables (red for R, white for L) from the "AUDIO OUT" section to your TV's audio inputs.

2. Selecting Source (DVD/VCR)

3. DVD Playback
- Ensure the unit is in DVD mode.

4. VHS Playback
- ඒකකය VCR මාදිලියේ ඇති බවට වග බලා ගන්න.
- VCR ස්ලොට් එකට VHS ටේප් එකක් ඇතුල් කරන්න. ඒකකය ස්වයංක්රීයව ටේප් එක පූරණය කරයි.
- නැවත ධාවනය ස්වයංක්රීයව ආරම්භ විය යුතුය. එසේ නොවේ නම්, ඔබන්න සෙල්ලම් කරන්න බොත්තම.
- භාවිතා කරන්න REW (ආපසු), F.FWD (වේගයෙන් ඉදිරියට), සහ STOP/EJECT කරන්න ටේප් පාලනය සඳහා බොත්තම්.
5. Recording VHS to DVD (One-Touch Recording)
This feature allows for easy transfer of VHS content to a recordable DVD.
- Insert a recordable DVD (DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W) into the DVD tray.
- Insert the VHS tape you wish to record into the VCR slot.

2. Media Handling
Handle DVDs and VHS tapes by their edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store media in their cases away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
