To calibrate your digital scale, place it on a flat surface and turn it on. Press and hold the calibration or units button (often labeled 'M', 'UNITS', or 'MODE') until the screen displays 'CAL'. The screen will flash a required weight value. Place the exact required test weight in the center of the platform. Once it reads 'PASS', calibration is complete.

The PCS mode counts items based on a reference weight. First, turn the scale on and place a specific sample quantity (like 25, 50, 75, or 100 identical pieces) on the tray. The 'O-Ld' or 'O-L' error indicates that the scale is overloaded beyond its maximum capacity; remove the weight immediately to prevent permanent sensor damage. If 'OUT2' is displayed upon startup, the scale has lost its calibration data and needs to be recalibrated using appropriate test weights.
