Close the tailgate and unfold the cover completely. Temporarily move the cover front-to-back or side-to-side to ensure it is evenly spaced and perfectly aligned over the truck bed rails before securely tightening the retaining bolts.
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen both screws and slide the quick latch to engage the striker by approximately 1/4" (6mm). Retighten the screws securely once positioned correctly.
